Watch OJ Simpson's Parole Hearing

OJ Simpson will appear before a parole board in Nevada today in a hearing that could result in his release from prison. Simpson will speak for 30-to-45 minutes to four parole board commissioners in Carson City via video conference from prison.  The members will have time to deliberate before they make a decision on paroling Simpson.

Experts have said parole for Simpson could be likely due to his good behavior, age and the fact that he has no prior convictions.  If the four members don't unanimously agree, then two other commissioners in Las Vegas will be called to vote.  The NFL star needs four votes to be released, and if the vote is split then parole will be denied.

One of the men OJ was convicted of robbing, Bruce Fromong, will testify at the parole hearing to advocate for Simpson's release.  Simpson has served more than eight years of a nine-to-33-year sentence after being convicted of armed robbery and other charges in 2008, when he attempted to recover some of his football memorabilia.

Simpson famously stood trial for the 1994 killing of Ron Goldman and the football star's wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.  He was acquitted of the charges in both killings.  Every recent poll indicates the majority of Americans believe Simpson did murder his wife and Ron Goldman.
