Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up: Distancing so simple a Caveman can do it

Threaded Fasteners Tighten Up

The football team from Utah’s American Fork High School is in the news for something other than having the nickname Cavemen. Really, they’re the American Fork Cavemen.

Anyway, American Fork beat Timpview High last Thursday, but not before the game was delayed in the first quarter for an announcement from athletic director Jeremy Lewis.

Lewis didn’t like that the students and adults in the stands weren’t following social-distancing guidelines. So, he got a microphone, stood on the field and told all his fellow Cavemen that the game wouldn’t continue until they followed the guidelines.

Guess what happened? The fans did as they were asked. The game continued and the Cavemen won.

Now we’re cooking with fire.

Any school leader has the power to take similar action when needed. If they don’t, they need to Tighten Up.

For Threaded Fasteners I’m Randy Kennedy with Tighten Up.
