"You Got This"-- A Golfer's Inspiration To Win His First Major

I don't know anything about golf, but I know awesome when I see it. And what happened Sunday at the U.S. Open was icing on the cake of awesome for Gary Woodland.

He won his first major championship.

It was special for his dad, who had coached him in every sport except golf, and who was there to get a big hug from his son after his Father's Day victory.

It was also special for a girl named Amy, the Special Olympian Woodland had met back in February at the Waste Management Open.

The video of them playing the 16th hole that day has gone viral, as will the video from yesterday, with Woodland calling Amy from the podium after the win.

She's not only his biggest fan... she was an inspiration this weekend, tweeting 'You got this' to her golfing hero.

"Amy told me a million times when we were on that hole, 'I got this. I got this.' I told myself that a million times today. I got this."

Woodland's advice to golfers... and every one of us?

There's going to be a lot of ups and downs but the one thing you can control is your attitude and if you do that, in the end, good things will happen.
